Unit Inspection

Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge Unit Inspection:

1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Remove the engine coolant temperature gauge unit.
3. Immerse the unit in 7O°C (158°F) water to measure the resistance.
Standard value: 104 ± 13.5 Ohms

Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge Unit Inspection:

4. After checking, apply the specified adhesive around the thread of engine coolant temperature gauge unit.
Specified sealant:
MOPAR Part No. 4318031 (Lock Nut Seal Adhesive) or equivalent.
5. Fill engine coolant.
