Hydraulic Unit Testing

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Release parking brake and feel drag force on each wheel.
3. Turn ignition key off and connect diagnostic scan tool to ABS mode.
4. Set shift lever to the NEUTRAL position.
5. Use scan tool to force-drive ABS actuator.
6. Turn wheel by hand and check change in braking force when brake pedal is depressed.

7. Compare brake system operation to above.

8. If brakes do not operate as specified, diagnose and repair.
9. After completing inspection, disconnect scan tool immediately after turning ignition off.
