Fault Message
- Throttle Position Sensor Voltage High

Background
- The sensor consists of a variable resistor that provides a voltage signal to the PCM based on the position of the throttle bade.
- The PCM uses throttle blade position information to adjust fuel injector pulse width.

Range of Check
- Ignition switch: ON

Set Condition
- Throttle position sensor output voltage remains more than 4.7 V for 1 second.

Probable Cause
- Sensor signal circuit open
- Throttle position sensor failed
- Sensor ground circuit open
