Background
- The fuel control system remains in open loop due to low engine temperature.
- This DTC will be stored if engine temperature remains below 16°C (60°F) for 10 minutes of operation and no engine coolant temperature sensor code has been set.

Range of Check
- Engine: running

Set Condition
- Engine coolant temperature does not exceed 16°C (60°F) after 10 minutes have passed since starting the engine.

Probable Cause
- Thermostat fully open
- Engine coolant temperature sensor failed
- Engine coolant temperature sensor connector improperly connected
- PCM failed
