Wiper Will Run Continuously With Switch In Intermittent Position; When Column Switch Is Turned Off Wipers Stop Wherever They Are Without Returning To Park Position

1. Check for ground at wiper motor wire connector terminal 1.
2. Using a suitable ohmmeter and with wiper motor in PARK position, check for continuity between terminal 1 and terminal 2 of motor connector. If satisfactory proceed to next step. If not satisfactory replace motor.
3. Check for continuity between terminal 1 of motor wire harness connector and terminal 5 of J3 14-way connector of body controller. Using a suitable voltmeter check for short circuit to battery or ignition feed in this circuit.
