Rear Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

After the crankshaft rear oil seal housing and old seal have been removed, a new rear oil seal can be installed with seal installation tool No. MD998718, or equivalent.
Apply Mopar silicon rubber adhesive sealant, or equivalent, to the oil seal housing and a light coating of engine oil to the entire circumference of the oil seal lip. Tighten bolts to specifications.
