Armrest Switch Bezel Loose

MODELS:
1996 (JX) Sebring Convertible

DISCUSSION:

When removal of the armrest switch bezel is required, the bezel may be damaged if it is improperly removed. The potential for damage is minimized if the bezel is removed by the following procedure:

^ Raise the switch bezel from the outboard (outside of car) edge first.

^ Maintain equal pressure on the length of the switch bezel while removing.

The complete removal and installation procedure can be found in the Sebring Convertible Supplemental Service Manual (P/N 81-270-6121A) on page 8P-3.

Whenever the bezels are removed and installed check for switch bezel looseness after the installation. If the bezel is loose, it can be replaced with the appropriate switch bezel assembly listed below.
