Motor Runs Slowly on Any Speed Setting

1. Remove wiper arms and blades, disconnect wiper motor connector, then drive link from motor.
2. Connect a suitable ammeter between battery negative terminal and terminal 2 of motor connector. Connect battery positive to terminal 3of motor connector. When replacing drive link nut, torque nut to 8-9 ft. lbs.
3. If motor runs and average ammeter reading is higher than six amps, replace motor. If motor runs and average ammeter reading is less than six amps go to next step.
4. Check to see if wiper linkage or pivots are binding.
