Tie Rod Replacement
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove the front wheel and tire assembly.2. Remove nuts attaching both outer tie rod ends to steering knuckle.
3. Using remover tool No. MB-991113, or equivalent, remove both tie rod end studs from steering knuckles.

4. Loosen inner to outer tie rod jam nut then remove the outer tie rod from inner tie rod.
5. Remove jam nut, then using pliers, expand tie rod boot, to inner tie rod clamp and remove from steering gear.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
