Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement
The power steering pump must be removed from the vehicle when removing the power steering pump pulley. Refer to "Power Steering Pump, Replace" for removal procedure.
Power Steering Pump Removal and Installation
1. Remove power steering pump from engine.

2. Place power steering pump in a vise while using puller tool No. C-4333, or C-4068, or equivalents, to remove pulley. Ensure pump shaft does not turn.
3. Install pulley noting the following:
a. Place power steering pump in vise using power steering pump bracket.
b. Place power steering pump pulley squarely on end of power steering pump shaft.

c. Install spacer tool No. 6936, or equivalent, on top of pulley.
d. Place installer tool No. C-4063B, or equivalent, in internal threads of power steering pump shaft and against spacer on power steering pump pulley.
e. Ensure installer tool and pulley remain aligned with pump shaft, install pulley onto power steering pump shaft until spacer is against end of shaft. When spacer is against the shaft, the power steering pump tool will no longer be able to be turned.
9. Remove installation tool and install pump. Refer to "Power Steering Pump, Replace" for installation procedures.

10. Refill fluid and bleed system of air. Refer to "Power Steering Hydraulic System Bleeding" for air bleeding procedure.
