A Diagnostic Readout Box (DRB) or equivalent scan tool is necessary to access the Antilock Brake System (ABS) diagnostic trouble codes. Connect the scan tool to the Data Link Connector (DLC) located under the lefthand side of the instrument panel. The diagnostic cycle begins when the ignition key is turned to the ON position. Refer to "Test 1A" in Diagnostic Charts for DRB readout and appropriate test number. After completing diagnostic tests, perform verification procedures.
