Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU)

The Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) is located on the righthand side of the front suspension. The HCU contains the following components for controlling brakes during ABS braking; four decay valves, four shuttle valves, two fluid sumps, a pump/motor and a relay box. Also attached to the HCU are rear brake proportioning valves and the six hydraulic tubes.
