Rear Bumper Fascia Loose On Right Side

MODELS:
1996 - 1997 (JX) Sebring Convertible

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

The right side rear bumper fascia is loose at wheel opening.

DIAGNOSIS:

Attempt to move (in/out or fore/aft) the right rear (passenger side) bumper fascia at the wheel well opening. If movement is found proceed to the Repair Procedure.

PARTS REQUIRED:

2 06503768 Push Pins, Rear Bumper Fascia

REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This bulletin involves removing the existing push pins and replacing with larger push pins.





1. Remove the two push pins in the rear bumper fascia and discard. Hold the fascia in place while removing the push pins. Figure 1

2. Install the new push pins (P/N 06503768) in the two holes where original push pins were located.

CAUTION:
INSURE THAT THE PUSH PINS ARE FULLY SEATED AND THE FASCIA NO LONGER MOVES.
