1, 2 and 3 Digit Codes: 11
WHEN MONITORED:After a reset (ignition key turned to the RUN position or after cranking engine), and periodically thereafter.
SET CONDITIONS:
Solenoid test must not be in progress and the Watchdog tests must be in progress.
Code sets in less than 1 second, if the Delay/Monitor line remains high after period has elapsed for the corresponding Watchdog Test.
EFFECT:
Transmission enters limp-in mode.
THEORY OF OPERATION:
The internal "Watchdog" (WD) circuit continuously monitors the microprocessor.
- It provides a Transmission limp-in mode when it detects a problem in the microprocessor.
- On the other hand, the microprocessor periodically tests the WD's ability to provide this shutdown function.
PROBABLE CAUSES:
Internal controller failure.
