Right Lateral Links

1. Raise and support vehicle then remove tire and wheel assembly.
2. Disconnect lateral links from spindle.
3. Position a transmission jack under fuel tank.
4. Remove crossmember to frame rail bolts and lower crossmember enough to allow lateral link bolts to clear fuel tank.
5. Disconnect lateral links from crossmember then remove lateral links.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Install solid lateral link toward front of vehicle and adjustable link toward rear of vehicle.
b. Install lateral link bolts with head toward front of vehicle.
c. Adjust rear toe as outlined under "Rear Wheel Alignment" in the "Wheel Alignment" unit repair section.
