Throttle Body Replacement

Throttle Body 3.3L:

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal, before removing fuel injection components.
2. Disconnect the [1][2]PCV make up air hose from valve cover. Remove air cleaner resonator from the throttle body.
3. Disconnect purge hose from throttle body.

TPS 3.3L:

4. Disconnect IAC motor and TPS electrical connectors.

Throttle Cable 3.5L:

5. Rotate throttle to wide open position. Remove throttle cable and speed control cable.
6. Remove the throttle body mounting bolts, the throttle body, and the gasket. Clean the throttle body and remove all old gasket material.

INSTALLATION
1. Using a new gasket, install the throttle body to the intake plenum. Torque the mounting bolts to 19 ft-lbs (26 Nm).
2. Connect IAC motor and TPS electrical connectors.
3. Rotate throttle to wide open position. Install throttle cable and speed control cable.
4. Connect purge hose to throttle body.
5. Install the air cleaner resonator to the throttle body. Connect [1][2]PCV make up air hose.
6. Connect the battery negative terminal.
