Fuel Tank Draining Procedure

If the fuel pump operates. energize the pump and drain the fuel into a portable fuel siphoning tank. Use the DRB or scan tool and Fuel System pressure test to energize the fuel pump.

If the pump does not operate, remove the fuel pump module through the access panel in the trunk floor. Drain the tank into a portable fuel siphoning tank through the opening for the fuel pump module.
