Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Testing and Inspection

If Charcoal Canister is saturated with liquid fuel, check for proper Purge Shutoff Switch and Pressure/Relief Rollover Valve operation.

NOTE: The Charcoal Canister and Purge Shutoff Switch are a combined unit and are not serviced separately. If the purge switch or cannister is defective the complete assembly must be replaced.
