Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Slide EGR purge solenoid off of bracket on air cleaner.
2. Remove screw from air cleaner
3. Remove air inlet duct from air cleaner.
4. Remove air cleaner by pulling straight up
5. Remove hoses from the top of the EVAP canister
6. Remove 3 nuts from EVAP canister.
7. Canister is removed from under the vehicle (Fig. 1).

INSTALLATION
1. Install canister from under vehicle.
2. Install 3 nuts to canister and tighten.
3. Install hoses to canister.
4. Install air cleaner and tighten screw.
5. Install air inlet duct to air cleaner.
6. Slide EGR purge solenoid onto bracket.
