Instrument Cluster Replacement

1. Disarm airbag as outlined under "Precautions."
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove instrument panel left end cap.
4. Remove headlamp switch as outlined under "Headlight Switch, Replace."
5. Remove instrument panel upper center bezel. Refer to procedure found in "Dash Panel Service."
6. Remove hazard switch and steering column shroud then tilt steering wheel down.
7. Remove instrument panel cluster bezel.
8. Remove instrument cluster screws and disengage upper latch.
9. Remove instrument cluster from panel. The instrument panel wiring harness connectors are mounted directly to the rear panel. A force of approximately 20 lbs. will be required to disengage the cluster from the connectors.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
