Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation

The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors air conditioning compressor discharge, (high side) pressure, through the air conditioning pressure transducer.

The transducer informs the PCM if pressure is sufficient for air conditioner operation.
