Sunroof motor inoperative.

^ Contaminated or corroded slides and channels.
^ Binding cable or linkage.
^ Faulty circuit ground (Q44) between controller, switch and A-pillar connector.
^ Faulty circuit (Q41, 42, 43) between controller, switch and A-pillar connector.
^ Faulty sunroof drive motor.
^ Faulty sunroof controller.


SYMPTOM-B
Audible whine when switch is depressed, sunroof does not operate.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
^ Faulty sunroof position sensor.
^ Faulty motor drive clutch.
^ Binding linkage.


SYMPTOM-C
Sunroof opens, but does not close.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
^ Binding linkage.
^ Faulty circuit.
^ Faulty switch.

SYMPTOM-D
Sunroof vents, but does not open.

SYMPTOM-F
Sunroof vents and opens, but does not close.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
^ Binding linkage.
^ Faulty circuit.
^ Faulty switch.
^ Faulty sunroof controller.
^ Shorted or faulty position sensor.


SYMPTOM-G
Sunroof does not park in closed position.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
^ Faulty circuit between position sensor and controller.
^ Faulty position sensor.
^ Faulty controller.


SYMPTOM-H
Sunroof water leak.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
^ Drain tubes clogged or kinked.
^ Glass panel improperly adjusted.
^ Faulty glass panel seal.


SYMPTOM-I
Wind noise from sunroof.
