Safety Recall # 734 -- Hood Latch Spring

^ This service requirement applies only to 1996 and 1997 model year Chrysler Cirrus, Dodge Stratus and Plymouth Breeze (JA) vehicles built from March 22, 1996 (MDH 0322XX) through April 15, 1997 (MDH 041516).

^ The hood latch spring on the above listed vehicles, may not remain in position when the hood is closed. To correct this condition, the hood latch spring must be replaced.

Parts Packages:

^ Each involved dealer, to whom vehicles in the recall were invoiced, will receive enough Hood Latch Springs to service about 25% of those vehicles.
