SYMPTOM/CONDITION:

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves adjusting the front suspension camber.
NOTE:
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ENLARGE ANY EXISTING HOLES TO INCREASE ADJUSTMENT.
1. Raise hood. Mark the position of the four shock absorber mounting bolts on the side that requires camber adjustment (the side farthest from the preferred setting should be adjusted).
2. Raise vehicle on a suitable frame hoist so the tires are just off the ground.
3. Loosen the four shock absorber mounting bolts on the side you marked in step # 1.
4. Remove the plastic locating pins from the shock bracket using a punch or pliers.
NOTE:
DO NOT LEAVE THE PLASTIC PINS IN THE CAVITY OF THE SHOCK TOWER, OBJECTIONABLE NOISE MAY RESULT.
5. Position the shock assembly inboard/outboard as required to adjust the camber. Make sure the fore/aft position is the same as indicated by the marks made prior to adjustment and the forward and rearward bolts have moved inboard or outboard equal amounts.
6. Torque shock absorber mounting bolts to 90 Nm (68 ft.lbs.).
7. Check front end alignment and set toe if required.
