Lifter / Lash Adjuster: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove cylinder head cover.
2. Remove cam follower assembly.

INSTALLATION
1. Install hydraulic lash adjuster assembly making sure adjusters are at least partially full of oil. This is indicated by little or no plunger travel when the lash adjuster is depressed.
2. Install cam follower assembly.
3. Install camshaft.
4. Install cylinder head cover.
