Rear of Glass Panel Height Adjustment

NOTE: The numbered call-outs in the following service procedure refer the numbered parts found in the exploded view diagram.

NOTE: The rear corners of the sunroof glass panel (1) should be flush to 1 mm (0.04 in.) higher than the edge of root panel.

CAUTION: Do not use more than a maximum of 4 mm (0.16 in.) group of shims in any one location.

1. Operate sunroof to closed position and check glass panel (1) height.
2. Remove both mechanism reveal covers (26).
3. Operate sunroof to vent position.
4. Loosen nut (2) on rear side to be adjusted.
5. Install or remove shims as necessary to attain proper height.
6. Tighten nuts (2).
7. Check glass panel height. Re-adjust as necessary.
8. Verify glass panel fit and operation.
9. Install mechanism reveal covers.
