Keyless Entry: Description and Operation

Operation of the power door lock system with Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) is the same as systems without RKE. The Body Control Module (BCM) still controls the operation of the door motors.

A RKE antenna is connected to the BCM and is used to provide the input indicating what the operator is requesting.
