Identification of Systems
The vehicle systems that are part of the "body" system are:Auto Door Locks -This feature locks all doors when the vehicle speed reaches 15 MPH and no doors are ajar.
Compass/Temperature Module - This feature, located in the overhead console, displays information on outside temperature and compass direction.
Courtesy Lamps - These are located on each front door trim panel and the overhead console (if equipped), and include the rear dome lamp.
Electronic Instrument Cluster - The electronic cluster is located in front of the steering wheel inside the dashboard, and has digital readouts for speedometer, odometer, and trip odometer with reset; and digital graphic displays for tachometer, oil pressure, fuel, voltage, and temperature. This option can be easily distinguished from the mechanical cluster by its digital linear displays.
EVIC Head Panel - This option can be identified by the presence of a digital panel display with six control function buttons located in the instrument panel.
Mechanical Instrument Cluster - This feature includes the "Seat Belt", "Low Fuel", and "Check gauges" warning lamps.
Illuminated Entry - This system can be identified by lifting up on either of the outside front door handles with the door locked. If the courtesy lamps light, the system is present on the vehicle.
Infinity Radio - There are several radios available on the vehicle covered. Only problems with the Infinity CD radio are diagnosed.
Intermittent Wipers - This feature is standard on all Dodge Daytona and Chrysler LeBaron models.
Traveler Module - This feature can be identified by the presence of a message center with STEP and US/M buttons located in the center of the instrument panel.
