Trim Panel: Service and Repair

Quarter Trim Panel:

WINDSHIELD HEADER MOLDING REMOVAL
1. Remove screws sun visor corner clip to windshield frame.
2. Separate corner clip from windshield frame.
3. Remove screws holding sun visor supports to windshield header.
4. Separate supports from header.
5. Remove screws holding windshield header molding to windshield frame.
6. Separate header molding from vehicle.
7. Reverse the preceding operation for installation.

A-PILLAR MOLDING REMOVAL
1. Remove sun visor corner clip.
2. Disengage clip holding A-pillar molding to A-pillar
3. Disengage clip holding A-pillar molding to cowl trim.
4. Separate A-pillar molding from vehicle.
5. Reverse the preceding operation for installation.

COWL TRIM AND SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL
1. Remove screws holding scuff place to door sill.
2. Remove screw holding cowl trim to body controller.
3. Disengage clip holding cowl trim to A-pillar molding.
4. Separate cowl trim and scuff plate from vehicle.
6. Reverse the preceding operation for installation.

QUARTER TRIM PANEL REMOVAL
1. Disengage snaps holding sling well to rear deck panel.
2. From each side of vehicle, Disengage clips holding sling well to belt reinforcement brace. Drape sling well over rear seat back into passenger compartment.
3. Remove screw holding quarter trim panel and door weatherstrip to door opening.
4. Remove the cowl trim and scuff plate covers.
5. Remove the rear seat cushion.
6. Disconnect rear speaker wire connectors.
7. Remove screws holding seat back to floor brackets and rear shoulder belt retractors. Separate rear seat back from vehicle.
8. Remove screws holding quarter trim to quarter panel at the boot latches.
9. Remove screws holding quarter trim to floor pan kick up.
10. Separate quarter trim from rear reinforcement.
11. Reverse the preceding operation for installation.
