Antenna Error

Name of Code: Antenna Error

When Monitored: Whenever radio is attempting to "seek" a radio station signal.

Set Conditions: When the "Seek" feature is requested, the radio's tuner will attempt to locate a signal across the entire bandwidth. If no signal is located after one continuous loop, the trouble code will set.

Possible Causes:
^ Open antenna coax circuit
^ Antenna disconnected from radio
^ Poor antenna ground at fender
^ Corrosion on antenna connector at radio or pigtail
^ Trying to seek in an area with no signal or a weak signal (in tunnels, remote areas, AM in a steel building
^ Radio failure
