Fuel Filter Supply Hose/Quick Connect Service Package

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
If you find it necessary to service the fuel filter supply hose/quick connect assembly, a new service package has been released.
PARTS REQUIRED:
1 Quick Connect/Hose Package (Consisting of: 1-Quick Connect/Hose; 1-Stainless Steel Clamp)
AG, AJ, AP 4741682
AA, AC, AY 4741683
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
This bulletin involves replacing the short fuel supply hose and quick connect between the fuel filter and chassis fuel line.
1. Perform the fuel system pressure release procedure as outlined in the appropriate service manual.
2. Remove the hose clamp holding the supply hose to the filter.
3. Remove the quick connect at the chassis line.
4. Connect the Quick Connect/Fuel Hose, from parts package 4741682 or 4741683, to the chassis fuel line.
NOTE:
PULL BACK ON CONNECTOR TO VERIFY THAT THE CONNECTION IS SECURE.
5. Install the free end of the hose onto the filter nipple using the stainless steel hose clamp from parts package 4741682 or 4741683. Tighten to 1 N-m (10 in.lbs.).
6. Using MDS or the Scan Tool (DRBII), perform the ASD fuel system test to pressurize the fuel system and check for leaks, as outlined in the appropriate service manual.
