Lowering the Vehicle

When weight is removed from the rear suspension raising the height of the vehicle, the height sensor sends a "high" signal to the Control Module (CM). This activates the internal time delay circuit, and after a time delay of 12--18 seconds, the CM grounds the exhaust valve solenoid circuit, and air is exhausted from the shock absorbers through the air dryer and exhaust solenoid, into the atmosphere.
As the shock absorbers deflate, the body moves downward to its original position. When the body reaches original height, the CM opens the exhaust solenoid valve circuit.
