Brake Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch: Description and Operation

Hydraulic Assembly:

The control pressure switch is attached to the valve block and provides an electrical signal to the Anti-lock Brake Control Module (ABM) when boost pressure reaches approximately 400 psi. This ABCM uses this signal to verify proper operation of the booster/master cylinder. A two pin connector and short harness are used to connect the control pressure switch to the sensor block.
NOTE: The control pressure switch is a serviceable part.
