ABS Main Relay: Description and Operation

The Over-Voltage Protection Relay (OVPR) provides power to the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS). The OVPR is located just forward of the Power Distribution Center (PDC) on the inner fender shield. The OVPR serves as the main system relay, in addition to preventing high voltage electrical spikes from reaching the Anti-lock Brake Control Module (ABCM) and sensor block circuits.
