Brake Fluid Pump: Description and Operation

The Pump/Motor assembly is located under the hydraulic assembly, at the rear, lefthand side of the engine compartment. This electrically driven pump, takes low pressure brake fluid from the hydraulic assembly reservoir and pressurizes it for storage in two accumulators for power assist and anti-lock braking.
