Fault Code 7
1. Check the Power Module connector for proper installation.2. Turn the ignition switch ON and check for power at terminal 1 of the power module.
- If power is not present, go to step 3.
- If power is present, go to step 4.
3. With all connectors installed and the ignition switch in the ON position, check for power at terminal 12 of the control module.
- If power is not present, replace the control module.
- If power is present, repair the wiring between the power module and the control module.
4. Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the 21-way connector.
5. Measure the resistance between terminals 2 and 12. The resistance should be between 2600 and 2800 ohms.
- If the resistance is correct, replace the control module.
- If the resistance is incorrect, go to step 6.
6. Remove the connector at the power module.
7. Check for continuity between the power module terminal 2 and the control module terminal 2.
- If there is continuity, replace the power module and retest system.
- If there is no continuity, repair the open wire.
