Fault Code 17

1. Disconnect the 21-way connector from the control module and the 5-way connector from the mode door actuator.
2. Check for continuity between terminal 5 of the 21-way connector and terminal 5 of the 5-way connector.
- If continuity is not present, repair the wire for an open.
- If continuity is present, go to step 3.
3. Reconnect the 5-way connector and check the resistance between terminals 4 and 5 of the 21-way connector. The resistance should be between 20 and 50 ohms.
- If the resistance is correct, replace the control module.
- If the resistance is incorrect, replace the mode door actuator.
