Fault Code 16 Diagnosis Chart:

Fault Code 16 will set if certain internal Anti-lock Brake Control Module (ABM) failures are detected. This code can also be set by other system malfunctions during certain test periods. If a Fault Code 16 is encountered, the vehicle should be test driven again so that the system may perform another self check during the normal start-up and acceleration phases of driving. In some cases, Codes 1-15 will set when Fault Code 16 had previously been displayed. Refer to the appropriate Fault Code.
