Service Procedure

1. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.

Perform steps 2 through 5 on both sides of the vehicle.





2. Place the provided template under the sill with the large hole over the jack locator pin and the small hole to the rear of the vehicle (Figure 1).

3. Lightly (without denting the metal) mark the location of the drill hole using a center punch and hammer.

4. Drill a 1/2" hole at the center punched location.

Caution:
Use an air powered drill motor to avoid electrical shock in the event that the quarter panel contains water.

5. Use primer, Mopar Part Number 4443636 or equivalent, to cover the edges of the drilled hole.
