Owner Letter

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION --

QUARTER WINDOW MOTOR

Dear Chrysler LeBaron Convertible Owner:

The satisfaction of our customers is very important to Chrysler. Because of this, we are requesting owners of 1990, 1991 and early 1992 model Chrysler LeBaron Convertible vehicles to return them to their dealers for a special service. The service as described in this letter will be provided free of charge.

Your vehicle, identified on the enclosed form, is affected. We ask that you arrange for this important service without delay.

The service is needed to prevent possible failure of the vehicle's rear quarter window electric motors due to corrosion. Drainage holes used to prevent water buildup in the rear quarter panels where the motors are located may be blocked off. If so, water could collect in these areas, corroding internal motor bearings and causing motor failure.

To correct the condition and prevent window motor failure, your dealer will drill a drainage hole in the bottom surface of each rear sill. The work will take about one-half hour to complete. However, additional time may be required depending on how dealer appointments are scheduled and processed.

To arrange for this important correction:

^ Contact your dealer as soon as possible to schedule an appointment for the free service.

^ Take the enclosed Owner Recall Notification Form with you at the time of your appointment and give it to your dealer. The form identifies the vehicle and the service that is required.

If you have any problem obtaining the needed correction, please contact the Chrysler Zone Service Office in your area. (It is listed under "Service Assistance" in your Owner's Manual.) A Zone representative will arrange for prompt attention to your vehicle.
