Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

If any code other than 55 is displayed during either procedure repair problem and clear codes before performing further diagnosis and testing.
After completion of all repairs, and testing, fault codes may be erased with the diagnostic tester, by accessing "erase fault code data". Care should be used to ensure all repairs have been made prior to fault code erasure.
