SERVICE MANUAL SUPPLEMENT

The procedures for replacing the turn signal switch, the headlamp/fog lamp switch and the wiper/washer switches for the 1990 Daytona (G-Body) and LeBaron Coupe and Convertible (J-Body) as described in the 1990 Front Wheel Drive Electrical Fuel & Emissions Service Manual Publication # 81-270-0102 have been supplemented to make it more complete and easier to understand.

PARTS REQUIRED (Information only)

The headlamp, fog lamp, wiper/washer and turn signal switch part numbers are as follows:


Wiper/Washer front wipers only; 4373695

Wiper/Washer front & rear wipers 4373503

Headlamp/Dome lamp only 4373504

Headlamp/Dome/Fog Lamp 4373696

Turn Signal 4373505
REPAIR PROCEDURE

Before replacing these switches, the switch pod must first be removed from the instrument panel. The switch pod is secured to the instrument panel by four screws, two on the top and two on the bottom. After removing the screws, gently pull the switch pod from the instrument panel.


NOTE: Use care when removing the switch pod from the instrument panel to prevent damage to the small diameter terminals on the back of the switches.
