Turn Signal Switch: Service and Repair

Turn Signal Switch:

On these models, the turn signal switch is located on the left side of the instrument panel switch pod.
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove switch pod assembly from instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Instrument Panel/Service and Repair.
3. Pull out on turn signal lever to remove.
4. Remove two screws from bottom of switch pod assembly.
5. Loosen five screws on bracket inside of switch pod assembly, then remove switch pod inner plastic.
6. Unclip pigtail to lower printed circuit board, then disconnect harness connector.
7. Slide switch out of slot at end of headlamp switch.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
