Owner Letter

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION -- INSTRUMENT PANEL SWITCH MODULE

Dear Chrysler Motors Car Owner:

The satisfaction of our customers is very important to Chrysler. Because of this, we are requesting owners of certain early-built 1990 model Dodge Daytona and Chrysler LeBaron passenger cars to return them to their dealers for a special corrective service.

Your car, whose Vehicle Identification Number is shown on the enclosed form, qualifies for this service. The repair and the parts required for it, as described in this letter, will be provided without charge to you.

The repair is needed to prevent possible loosening of the switches mounted on the instrument panel "switch module." The switch module is the brow around the instrument cluster which contains switches for various electrical systems.

The switches can loosen due to cracking of the module around the switch attachments. The switches will continue to function. However, they may feel loose and the repair should be done for best operation. We ask that you arrange for this important service without delay.

To correct the condition, your dealer will replace the original part with a new module assembly. The work will take about one half hour to complete. However, additional time may be required depending on how dealer service appointments are scheduled and processed. To arrange for this repair:

^ Contact your dealer as soon as possible to schedule an appointment for the free service.

^ Take the enclosed Owner Recall Notification Form with you at the time of your appointment and give it to your dealer. The form shows the identification number for the vehicle which requires service.

If you have any problem obtaining the needed service, please contact the Chrysler Zone Service Office in your area. (It is listed under "Service Assistance" in your Operator's Manual.) A Zone representative will arrange for prompt servicing of your car.
