SYMPTOM/CONDITION

Rear disc brake noise (grinding sound) which occurs after a light rain or high humidity for the first two or three stops. This is likely caused by a light glazing on the rear disc brake rotors.


PARTS REQUIRED

1 - Rear Disc Brake Set PN 4423667


REPAIR PROCEDURE:

This procedure involves replacing rear disc pads with disc pads made with a new formulated material for noise reduction.

1. Replace the rear disc brakes pads using part number 4423667.

2. Use the service procedure outlined in the 1990 Front Wheel Drive Car Service Manual; Publication No. 81-270-0101 for the AG and AJ vehicles. This procedure is the same for 1989 or 1990.
