If any code other than 55 is displayed during either procedure further diagnosis and testing are necessary.

After completion of all repairs, and testing, fault codes may be erased with the diagnostic tester, by accessing "erase fault code data". Care should be used to ensure all repairs have been made prior to fault code erasure.
