Wiper Motor: Service and Repair

NOTE: Refer to Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming to disable airbag before proceeding. Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove wiper arms, then the plastic cowl cover.
3. Remove pivot mounting stud retaining nuts and disconnect wiper motor wiring connector.
4. Remove motor mounting bracket retaining bolts, then the motor assembly from cowl plenum.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
