Diagnostic Procedure

NOTE: Diagnosis of the Automatic Air Suspension (AAS), system requires use of the DRB II diagnostic read out tool or equivalent, and air suspension cartridge or equivalent. Follow manufacturer's instructions for use of the tool.

1. Use DRB II tester and air suspension cartridge to begin diagnostic procedure.
2. Use DRB mating connector under drivers's side dash panel to connect DRB II test connector.
3. The tester will conduct a complete check of the AAS system status.
4. The tester will list the steps to access and diagnose the failure.
5. A volt/ohmmeter can be used for some diagnostic testing.
6. Perform diagnostic procedures, refer to DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS.
7. After procedure is completed, verify test as shown, refer to Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Procedures.
