COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY OPERATION
The compressor assembly is driven by an electric motor and supplies air pressure of 135-180 psi. A solenoid operated exhaust valve, located in the compressor head assembly, releases air when energized. A heat actuated circuit breaker, located inside the compressor motor housing, prevents damage to the compressor motor in the event of control module failure.
COMPRESSOR AIR DRYER OPERATION
The air dryer, which is attached to the compressor, absorbs moisture from the atmosphere before it enters the system, and with internal valveing, maintains a residual pressure of 25-40 psi.
