Rear Air Springs Replacement
NOTE: Open trunk, door(s) or disconnect battery ground cable before raising vehicle. Rear air springs must be deflated before being removed from vehicle.
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
3. Disconnect solenoid electrical connector and air line. Service and Repair
4. Relieve air pressure, then remove solenoid. Service and Repair

5. Release upper air spring alignment/retaining clips.

6. Remove lower spring to axle nut.

7. Pry assembly down and pull alignment studs through retaining clips, then remove rear air spring assembly.
INSTALLATION
1. Position rear air spring assembly lower stud into axle seat and upper alignment pins through frame rail adapter.
2. Install upper retaining clips.
3. Install lower spring to axle nut. Do not torque nut.
4. Install solenoid, then connect air line and electrical connector.
5. Charge (inflate) air spring. Recharging Air Springs Add air for 60 seconds.
6. After inflating air spring, torque lower spring to axle nut to 50 lb-ft.
7. Install wheel and tire, lower vehicle and connect battery ground cable.
